- Adam,
-
- I have downloaded Voiceguide, and want to tell you that from a configurability
- point of view, its wonderful. However, (yea, theres always a however), I have no
- problem recording the .WAV files, and regeneration of the files to play over my
- soundblaster speakers sounds great, but when I use the converter to convert them
- to either R2, R3, or R4, I lose so much amplitude that the end result is the listener
- can hear the message, but it's no where near the amplitude of the pre-recorded
- samples that you ship with Voiceguide. I am using a BestData modem that shipped
- with Bitcom's voice system. I was very displeased with the software (BitCom) due
- to the fact that bi-directional movement within mailboxes was not feasable.
- However, I have had to revert to using it as I am unable to determine how to get
- sufficient volume into the wav file so as to have enough left to hear after
- conversion to the rockwell format. Any insights into this problem would be
- appreciated. We would happily register this product after we have given it a good
- shakedown run, and initial impression of your product is excellent, however, the
- above listed problem we are having with the sound volume is a major show
- stopper. Is there a solution to this problem.
-
- If this is not the proper place for discussion of this problem, please let me know,
- and I will carry this discussion to another forum. I found this thread via searching
- on the product name.
-
- Thanks again
